Having heard learned Counsel for the parties for some time, there is an element of settlement since the only question which needs to be determined is whether the issue of personal and living expenses as discussed by the Supreme Court in the case of Sarla Verma & Ors. Vs. Delhi Transport Corporation & Anr. (2009) 6 SCC 121 can be considered and the amount of compensation under the head of dependency can be accordingly determined.
