Learned counsel for the respondent submits that under the Electricity Act, 2003 and Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission(Electricity Supply Code and Standards of Performance of Distribution Licensees including Power Quality) Regulations, 2020, the respondent is permitted to transfer the dues of the commercial connection to any other connection of the same consumer including any other connection for residence. She submits that in view of applicable rules, the dues of commercial consumer account have been transferred to the residential account of the same consumer i.e. present appellant's husband. She submits that both the connections are already disconnected. To support her submissions she seeks time to place on record the relevant regulations.
