Heard on Interim Application (St.) No. 7709 of 2025. 2.

The aforesaid Interim Application has been filed by the applicants, inter alia, on the ground that in PIL No. 9 of 2024 directions have been sought against the applicants. The

7-IAST-7709-2025.doc applicants also seek a direction to respondents to decide the representation submitted by them.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and from perusal of the averments made in the application, we find that the applicants are necessary parties to the PIL. Accordingly, Interim Application is allowed insofar the prayer to implead the applicants as party-respondent in PIL is concerned.

Insofar as the prayer seeking a direction to decide the representation, the application is disposed of with the liberty to the applicants to take recourse to such remedy as may be available to them in law.

Let necessary amendment be carried out within one week.

Learned Additional Government Pleader prays for and is granted two weeks time to enable him to file affidavit in compliance of the directions issued by this Court on 3rd January, 2025.
