In this petition, which has been filed as Public Interest Litigation, the petitioner, who is an advocate, seeks direction to the respondents to regularize the appointments of Law Officers in the State of Maharashtra.

When a query was put to the learned counsel for the petitioner with regard to the element of public interest involved in the PIL as well as locus of the petitioner to file the PIL, learned counsel for the petitioner, prays for adjournment on the ground that the arguing counsel is in personal difficulty.

In view of the aforesaid submission, hearing is deferred. List after summer vacation.
