Mr. Kakade, learned Government Pleader seeks and is granted a week's time to file affidavit in reply on behalf of the State, though an affidavit has been filed by the Collector in his capacity as District Election Officer.

It has been informed that affidavits in reply have been filed by all respondents except the Collector/State, to which rejoinder affidavits have also been filed.

Mr. Kumbhakoni, learned senior advocate representing the Election Commission of India is also granted three weeks' time to file affidavit in reply on its behalf. Rejoinder thereto, if any, may be filed by the petitioners by the next date of listing. 4.

Stand over to 30th July 2024.

The interim order dated 9th May 2024 shall continue to operate till the next date of listing.
