Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, heard finally. 2.
The petitioner claims himself to be a public spirited person. He has filed this Public Interest Litigation seeking a direction to the respondents to frame, execute and implement in a time bound manner a policy for regular supply of potable water. In addition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the Pune Municipal Corporation to undertake and complete the road widening work in Keshav Nagar, Pune.
3.
Mr. Kulkarni, learned counsel for the Pune Municipal Corporation, on instructions, submits that a Water Committee has been constituted to ensure that potable drinking water is

It is further submitted that in case the petitioner has any grievance, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Water Committee, which is under obligation to look into the grievance of the petitioner and to ensure supply of potable water.
4.
In view of the aforesaid submissions and in the facts and circumstances of the case, we grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the Water Committee constituted by the Pune Municipal Corporation. Needless to state that in case the petitioner approaches the Water Committee with regard to his grievances, the Water Committee shall make an endeavour to address the grievances of the petitioner and shall take all possible steps to ensure the supply of potable water to the residents within the limits of the Municipal Corporation. 5.
In a writ petition, the petitioner must seek reliefs of a similar nature. Prayer clause (b) is in relation to the widening of roads in Keshav Nagar, Pune and is not associated in any manner with the prayer clause (a) in the petition. Therefore, we are not inclined to entertain the said prayer clause (b) in this PIL petition. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to take recourse to such remedy as may be available to him in law with regard to prayer clause (b) in respect of widening of roads in Keshav Nagar, Pune.
6.
Accordingly, PIL is disposed of.
