Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the PIL petition with liberty to approach the authorities concerned.

Accordingly, the PIL petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.

However, we make it clear that we have not adjudicated the merit of the claim of the petitioner. We further observe that the remedy which the petitioner is seeking liberty for, will be available to him only if it is otherwise available to him under law.
