Pursuant to our order dated 14.11.2024, affidavits have been filed by the petitioners. However, those are not clarifying the position. 2.

We permit the petitioners to file one more affidavit, clarifying as to how much amount was received towards arrears and how much was towards regular salary in a year.

At this stage, issue simple notice to respondent no. 2. 4.

We also permit to respondent no. 2 to file on record how much amount has been paid by the government, to the petitioners towards arrears after the decision in Writ Petition No. 5179/2016 and companion matters in respect of petitioners. Such affidavits to be filed on or before 10.01.2025. Copy of the same be given to the other side.
