Heard the learned Counsel for the respective parties. 2.

The petition was listed for hearing. The issue was raised that against the order passed in appeal under Section 18

(2) of the Maharashtra Money Lenders (Regulation) Act, 2014, (for short "the Act"), a revision under Section 9 of the Act would lie. This Court recently held in Writ Petition No. 14389 of 2019 Parbata Jija Pote and Others Versus State of Maharashtra and

Others, decided on 24.04.2024 that against the order in appeal under Section 18 (4) of the said Act, no revision would lie. Therefore, an objection that the petitioner would approach the Registrar under Section 9 of the said Act does not survive. 3.

Stand over to 11.07.2024.
