Applicants seek to condone delay which ranges from 1795 to 2829 in preferring appeals.

For the reasons stated in the applications, delay is sought to be condoned. The applicants are ready to give up interest and statutory benefits for the delayed period. 4.
Applications are contested by the respondents. In couple of matters, even affidavit-in-reply is also filed contesting the applications.

The applicants are the land owners who are deprived of their properties and legitimate compensation. They are ready to give up interest and statutory benefits. There is no reason to infer any malafides on their part in preferring appeals belatedly. For the reasons stated in the applications, I find it fit to condone the delay on certain conditions. The delay stands
condoned on condition that the applicants shall not been entitled to interest and statutory benefits for the delayed period as well as for the period of lapses from the date of filing of applications till securing of the first order. 6.
It reveals from record that though appeals are filed those were not circulated for considerable period the lapses are attributable to the applicants which is provided in the following chart :

Civil applications are allowed by condoning delay on condition that applicants shall not be entitled to interest and the statutory benefits for the delayed period as well as the period for lapses.
