On 28th March, 2024, this Court passed an order in Writ Petition No. 16368 of 2023 and observed therein that it is not possible to continuously pass orders giving a time line to the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad, as a routine order in every matter. He has public duties to discharge and is to deal with the administration of the Zilla Parishad. Hence, this Court had suggested a time line of 8 weeks, subject to other public duties and earlier time bound commitments. 2.

The CEO, Zilla Parishad has decided the issue on Talwalkar

26.CP122.2025.odt 12.6.2024. A Contempt Petition is filed on 16.12.2024 only for the reason that the Petitioner is not happy with the orders passed by the CEO, Zilla Parishad.

We do not find that the CEO has committed a deliberate, willful or intentional disobedience of the order passed by this Court. This Contempt Petition is devoid of merits and is therefore, dismissed. (ASHWIN D. BHOBE, J.) (RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.) Talwalkar
