The Contempt Petition has been filed alleging contempt of the order dated 30th October, 2023 passed in Writ Petition No. 7697 of 2023.

Perusal of the order of which contempt is alleged would indicate that the liability on the Respondent-trust would arise only after the pay bills are rejected by the Deputy Director of Education and a communication to that effect is made to the Respondent-trust. The Contempt Petition has been filed on 11th March, 2024 and it is not Chavan 1 of
907-CP-236-2024.doc disputed that at the time of filing of the Contempt Petition, the decision had not been taken by the Deputy Director of Education on the pay bill, and hence, there was no liability to pay imposed on the Respondent-Trust. In view thereof, the Contempt Petition is clearly misconceived and stands dismissed.
