Learned counsel representing the respondent no. 2 has produced before the Court the Pension Payment Order dated 18th October 2024 addressed to the Pay and Accounts Officer, Central Pension Accounting Office, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, New Delhi.

The said Pension Payment Order is taken on record. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 has further stated that the payment of dues to the petitioner shall be made within 8 weeks.

In view of the aforesaid statement, the contempt petition is disposed of, however, in case the dues are not paid within the time stipulated herein, it will be open to the petitioner to make appropriate application seeking revival of the contempt petition. (AMIT BORKAR, J.) (CHIEF JUSTICE)
