The Petitioner complains of con-compliance with the directions issued by this Court in WP No. 4632 of 2015. On this ground, the Petitioner had instituted WP (St.) 8541 of 2021 in this Court.

WP (St.)No. 8541 of 2021 was disposed of by the Division Bench of this Court on 26 April 2022 by observing that since the order was already passed in favour of the Petitioners, it was not necessary for the Petitioner to file a fresh Petition. The Petitioners were granted liberty to take out appropriate
proceedings for enforcement of the orders made in WP No. 4632 of 2015.

Mr. Patil states that till date, the Petitioners have not been paid the compensation under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, though directed by this Court in its order disposing of WP No. 4632 of 2015.

Accordingly, we issue notices to Respondent Nos. 2, 3, 6 and 7, returnable on 19 June 2025.

The Petitioner has stated the names of the incumbents in the cause title at the time of the institution of the Petition. Mr. Patil states that by now, some different incumbents may be holding the posts and therefore, he would carry out the necessary amendments to the cause title within two weeks from today.

Leave is granted.

Re-verification is dispensed with.

The Registry is directed to issue notices to the incumbents holding the posts of Respondent Nos. 2, 3, 6 and 7 as now indicated in the cause title. The Petitioner should take steps for effecting service by providing process fees, copies etc within a week from today.

List the matter on 19 June 2025.

Mr. Deolekar, learned AGP appears in this matter and states that he will also obtain instructions regarding the status of compliance.

Mr. Patil states that the copy of the Petition will be served upon Mr. Deolekar in the course of the day.
