This Court had passed an order on 13th August, 2024 in Writ Petition No.11179 of 2024 and Writ Petition No.11181 of 2024. A specific direction was set out in Paragraph No.2 of the common order, which reads as under :- "In view of this position, we permit the Petitioners to make an applications to the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 - Zilla Parishad, Pune. The Zilla Parishad, Pune is SUNNY THOTE

(2)-(3)-CP-650-2024-(C).odt directed to examine the applications and the relevant Government Resolution and communicate the outcome to the Petitioners within a period of eight weeks from filing of the applications, subject to earlier urgent time bound commitments."

It is undisputed that the eight weeks expired on 14th October, 2024 and the hearing was convened by Mr. Santosh Patil, then CEO of Zilla Parishad, Pune on 17th December, 2024. He was transferred as District Collector, Satara on 2nd/3rd January, 2025. Yet no order was passed. An Application for extension of time was also not moved by Mr. Santosh Patil, before this Court. 3.

Issue notice to Mr. Santosh Patil, who is presently the District Collector, Satara in the format prescribed under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, returnable on 21st February, 2025. The learned Advocate Mr. Pachundkar, waives service of notice on behalf of Respondent Nos.1 and 2.

Liberty to file an affidavit, on or before 21st February, 2025.
