The learned Advocate for the Applicant seeks to amend the Application to appropriately describe the Kalyan Court as "Civil Judge, Senior Division, Kalyan."

The amendment to be carried out forthwith and in any event by the end of the day today.

This Miscellaneous Civil Application is filed by the Applicant-wife under Section 24 of the Civil Procedure Code 1908, seeking transfer of Marriage Petition bearing Petition No.497 of 2022 from Ld. Civil Judge, Senior Division, Panvel to Civil Judge, 1/2 by SANDHYA BHAGU WADHWA Date:

Upon hearing both the parties, the following Order is passed:- (i) Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (I) and (II).

(ii) The transfer shall be effected within a period of four weeks. Upon receipt of the papers and proceedings, the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Kalyan, shall issue notice to the parties, preferably within three weeks, to proceed with their respective matters.

(iii) The Civil Judge, Senior Division, Kalyan may, at its discretion, permit the Respondent to appear via Video Conferencing, if such permission is sought and his physical presence is not absolutely necessary.

(iv) All concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this Order.
