By an order dated 28th February, 2025, this Court had directed the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority ('DLSA'), Pune to mediate between the parties and submit a report within four weeks. The period expired on 28th March, 2025; however, no report has been filed till date, and four months have since lapsed.

The Advocates inform that the next date fixed by Mediator is 30th August, 2025.

It is noted that the mediation process commenced on 28th March, 2025, and in the five months since, only four

6-ASMCA-127-2024.DOC meetings between parties have been conducted. This is unacceptable.

The Secretary, DLSA, Pune is therefore requested to expedite the mediation process and file a report on or before 30th August, 2025. The Mediator is also requested to conduct multiple meetings, if necessary, to resolve the disputes. 5.

In the meantime, proceedings before the Family Court, Thane to continue.

The Family Court, Thane shall consider the ApplicantWife's application, if made, seeking permission to appear through Video Conferencing in the event she is unable to remain physical present, on its own merits.

It is clarified that the pendency of this Miscellaneous Civil Application shall not preclude the parties from either continuing with mediation or proceeding with the matter. 8.

List the matter on 2nd September, 2025.
