The applicant/wife seeks transfer of the divorce proceedings initiated by the husband bearing Marriage Petition No. 1598 of 2023 before the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Pune City, District Pune be transferred to Civil Judge, Senior Divion at Panvel, Raigad. 3.

Learned counsel for the wife submits that she married the respondent on 12.05.2014 and she has 8 year old daughter born out of the said marriage. She submits that she is working in Tech. Mahindra as a Test Manager and the respondent is working in TATA. She further submits that husband has initiated the divorce proceedings in Pune and prays that the said proceedings be transferred to Panvel. She submits that she has filed divorce proceeding at Panvel and the husband is appearing at Panvel. 1/2

Respondent though served, not entertained his appearance. 5.

For the reasons stated in the application, more particularly applicant has custody of 8 year old daughter and the respondent/husband is already attending divorce proceedings filed by the wife at Panvel, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).
