Heard the learned counsel for the applicant.

This is an application under section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 for transfer of Marriage Petition No. 193 of 2024 from the Court of Civil Judge Senior Division, Panvel to the Family Court at Pune. The said petition is filed for dissolution of marriage by respondent-husband.

The applicant has also filed a petition for dissolution of marriage before the Family Court at Pune being Marriage Petition No.A-390 of 2024.

The learned counsel for the respondent on instruction submits that since both the parties have filed petitions for divorce, the respondent is not averse to the transfer of the Marriage Petition No. 193 of 2024 from the Court of Civil Judge Senior Division, ...1
Panvel to the Family Court at Pune for hearing and disposal in accordance with law along with Marriage Petition No. A-390 of 2024. The learned counsel, however, submits that having regard to the age of the parties, the Family Court be directed to hear and decide both the petitions as expeditiously as possible. The submission appears justifiable.
Hence, the following order.
ORDER
1] Application stands allowed.
2] Marriage Petition No. 193 of 2024 stands transferred from the Court of Civil Judge Senior Division, Panvel to the Family Court at Pune for hearing and disposal in accordance with law, along with Marriage Petition No. A-390 of 2024. 3] The learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Panvel shall transfer the record and proceedings in Marriage Petition No. 193 of 2024 with such dispatch that it reaches the Family Court at Pune within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
4] The learned Judge, Family Court, Pune is requested to make an endeavour to hear and decide both the petitions as expeditiously as possible.
