Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

This application is filed for transfer of Marriage Petition No.58 of 2024 from Family Court at Pune to the Family Court at Bandra, Mumbai.

The learned Counsel for the respondent, on instructions, submits that considering the inconvenience likely to be caused to the applicant, the respondent is not averse to the transfer of the marriage petition to the Family Court at Bandra. The learned Counsel for the respondent submits that the applicant may be directed not to seek unnecessary adjournment and, in the event, adjournment is 1/3

necessary, inform the respondent in advance and the respondent be permitted to appear before the learned Judge, Family Court at Bandra through VC.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, the application stands allowed.

Marriage Petition No.58 of 2024 stands transferred from the Family Court at Pune to the Family Court at Bandra for hearing and disposal in accordance with law.

The learned Judge, Family Court at Pune, shall transfer the record and proceedings in Marriage Petition No.58 of 2024 with such dispatch that it reaches the Family Court at Bandra, within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The parties shall not seek unnecessary adjournment. In the event, the adjournment becomes necessary, the party seeking adjournment shall inform the other side in advance. 8.

The respondent is at liberty to appear before the Judge, Family Court at Bandra, through Video Conferencing. However, whenever the learned Judge, Family Court at Bandra considers it appropriate and directs the respondent 2/3

to appear in-person, the respondent shall appear before the Court.

Application stands disposed.

No costs.
