DATE : 25TH NOVEMBER, 2024 P.C.:- 1.
This is an application filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 for extension of mandate of the Tribunal. The Respondent though served has not appeared.
2.
Learned Counsel for the Petitioner has placed reliance upon an Affidavit of Service to prove due service upon the Respondent. Learned Counsel submits that the arbitration proceedings have in fact been concluded and all that remain is pronouncing/passing of the Arbitral Award. It is thus that extension of time is sought. He has placed on record for my consideration an email dated 12 th November, 2024 by which, the Tribunal has requested for an extension till March, 2025.
