Today, Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent very fairly submitted that the Respondent is not opposing an appointment of an Arbitrator. He has tendered the list of proposed Arbitrators for consideration of the Petitioner. He however submits that before the Court proceeds to appoint an Arbitrator, time be granted to the parties to explore the possibility of settlement, since the claim is not of a large amount. Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner agrees to this.

Hence noting that the Respondent is not opposing an appointment of an Arbitrator, I am standing over the matter for a period of two weeks to enable the parties to amicably resolve their disputes and differences. In the event, such settlement is not possible, the Court will proceed to appoint an Arbitrator on the next date.
