Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the contempt petition, which challenges the disobedience of the order dated 13.02.2023 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.588 of 2022, thereby directing the restoration of the property referred to in Para 4 of the order within a time-bound manner. Since there is no compliance of the above order, the petitioner has addressed several communications to the Deputy Collector, Bardez Goa, bringing to his notice about the non-compliance of the order, despite no action has been taken. In the wake of the aforesaid, issue notice to respondent Nos.1 and 2 asking them to show cause as to why action under the Contempt of Courts Act shall not be initiated against them for not 6th May, 2025
CP 2 of 2025 complying with the directions issued on 13.02.2023. The respondents are at liberty to show cause by filing their reply on or before 16.06.2025.
List the petition for hearing on 23.06.2025.
