The learned counsel for the appellant states that the only point involved in the appeal is that compensation under the head of medical expenses is awarded in excess of what is permissible under Section 163-A of the Motor Vehicles Act. He, therefore, submits that the matter can be heard finally at admission stage.

Issue fresh notices to the respondents indicating that the matter will be taken up for final hearing at admission stage on 04.03.2025. The appellant is permitted to serve the respondents by all permissible mode, in addition to regular mode of service.
