O R D E R

(Passed on 14.03.2026) The instant Appeal by the Insurance Company against the Award dated 23/08/2024 passed by learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Achalpur in MACP No. 53 of 2015 for granting compensation of Rs.6,37,000/- with interest @ 6 % per annum.

The Appellant and Original Claimants who are Respondent Nos.1 and 2 in the instant Appeal, have arrived at amicable settlement mentioned in joint pursis. The pursis under the Signatures of Respondent Nos.1 and 2- Original Claimants alongwith their Advocates and the authorized signatory of the Insurance Company and the Advocate for Insurance Company, is placed on record. As per joint Pursis, the parties have settled the matter for Rs.6,37,000/- As per the Pursis, the Appellant has deposited Rs. 8,93,345/- in the office of this Court. As per the compromise pursis, it is agreed that, the Original Claimant i.e. Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 shall be entitled to withdraw amount of Rs. 6,37,000/- and the balance amount of Rs.2,56,345/- shall be withdrawn by the Insurance Company, along with accrued interest thereon.

A-9 The learned counsel for the Original Claimants who is present through V.C., has admitted and verified the contents of joint pursis for himself and on behalf of Original Claimants.

In view of above, the Appeal stands disposed of in terms of settlement mentioned in joint pursis.

The amount towards statutory deposit, if any, is permitted to be withdrawn by the Insurance company, along with accrued interest thereon. The Court fees be returned as per rules.
