DATE : 24TH JULY, 2025 Leave to amend the application for grant of divorce by mutual consent is granted. The amendment be carried out forthwith. The same is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification purpose.

The learned counsel for the respective parties submit that the parties are arrived at amicable settlement and consented to dissolve their marriage by mutual consent. 3.
The appellant connected through video conferencing. The respondent-wife is present in person today, identified by her counsel. The power of attorney for the appellant is also present, as appellant is out of India. Both the parties filed petition for grant of divorce by mutual consent under section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act. Though there is application seeking leave to convert the original petition into petition under section 13-B of the KHUNTE
10-fca27.24.odt 2/2 Hindu Marriage Act for divorce by mutual consent, it would be appropriate to modify the decree of Family Court, Amravati. The petition is treated as joint application for dissolution of marriage by mutual consent.

There are affidavits filed along with the application of both the parties. The contents of the application are verified from the respective parties and those are agreed by both the parties. Moreover, it is in the interest of the parties to allow the same, which they voluntarily made. 5.
As such, the appeal is allowed.

The order passed by the Family Court, Amravati in HMP No.A-197 of 2022 dated 05/03/2024 is hereby quashed and set aside.

It is declared that the marriage between appellantMukund Manohar Thakare and respondent-Priyanka Mukund Thakare is hereby dissolved under section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act by mutual consent.

The decree of divorce in terms of compromise pursis and respective affidavits be drawn accordingly. 9.
The terms of compromise shall be the part of the decree, which is marked 'X' for identification purpose. 10.
In view of above, the appeal stands disposed of. No costs.
