2. Issue notice to the Second and Fifth Respondents, returnable on 24th June 2024. In addition to the usual mode of service, private service is permitted on Respondent Nos.2 and 5. The Petitioners should file an affidavit of service.

3. Mr Bhobe, learned Counsel for the Sixth Respondent, on instructions, states that after receipt of the stop-work order from the Village Panchayat, no construction or development activity is taking place. He states that no trees are being felled in the property, which is a subject matter of this Petition. This position should continue until the next date.

4 If any of the Respondents, wish to file responses, they should do so by 14th June, by giving advance copies to the learned Counsel for the Petitioners. If the Petitioners wish to file a rejoinder, they should do so by 20th June.
