On 26.03.2025, we directed the petitioner to file an appropriate affidavit furnishing the necessary details, which would justify the Federation approaching the Court by way of Public Interest Litigation.

2. In response, the General Secretary of the petitioner - Society tendered an affidavit, which is taken on record. A copy of the same has been also served upon Mr Desai, who has specifically raised an objection about the locus of the petition.
