Learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for Respondent No. 4-GCZMA states that the permission granted by Respondent No. 4 in the year 2013, expired much earlier. Therefore, as on date, there is no permission in existence. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for Respondent No. 8 seriously disputes this position. According to him, the permission stood extended by virtue of the notification issued in 2018 for seven years and for ten years vide the notification issued in the year 2023. 4th December, 2025

PILWP 51 of 2024 Learned Additional Government Advocate seriously disputes this position.

2. Considering this situation, the learned Additional Government Advocate shall file an affidavit in reply clarifying the stand that the permission stood cancelled much earlier.

There are other issues raised by the learned Counsel for the Petitioners, which shall be considered, if necessary, depending on the status of the permission.

Stand over to 12.02.2026.

3. Ad-interim relief, if any granted earlier, to continue till the next date.
