By this application, the petitioner seeks restoration of the writ petition which was dismissed in default by order dated 26-11-2024. The application for restoration was although filed on 10-12-2024, the same was not circulated for long time. The record reveals that the petitioner has consistently remained absent, but now seeks restoration of the petition.

Having regard to the contents of the application and the submissions advanced, the application is allowed subject to costs of Rs.3000/- to be deposited in Public Welfare Account No.129712010001014, IFSC Code-UBIN0812978, within a period of two weeks from today.
