The applicant has filed this application to transfer the proceedings from Bandra Family Court to Akola Family Court. The applicant is staying at Patur along with her 5 years son. She has filed the application under the provisions of the Domestic Violence Act and complaint under Section 498-A of the I.P.C. is also filed in which the non-applicant is appearing at Akola. It is difficult for the applicant to travel from Akola to Bandra, Mumbai with her 5 years old child. Therefore, she has filed this application. The non-applicant has filed the divorce petition.

The non-applicant is appearing in the matters which are pending before the Akola Court. If the same date is taken, it will be convenient for both of them to contest the matters. Hence the proceedings which is pending before the Family Court at Bandra, Mumbai is transferred to Akola Court. The application stands disposed of.
