IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

Sharma, Advocate for the petitioner. CORAM: NITIN W. SAMBRE & MRS.VRUSHALI V. JOSHI, JJ. DATED: 20.1.2025.

Heard.

2.

Post termination of services, the petitioner has approached this Court in the capacity of a terminated Teacher questioning the order of termination dated 24.9.2024.

3.

The said order came to be issued by the respondent Zilla Parishad on the ground that the petitioner has failed to clear the requisite qualification within the time stipulated. It appears that the petitioner was required to clear D.Ed. examination as he was in the profession of imparting education in the Zilla Parishad. Such qualification was to be cleared by the petitioner as per the Government Resolution dated 14.9.2017 till 31.3.2019. 4.

Admittedly, the petitioner has not cleared the said examination by such cut-off date which has prompted his termination. 5.

As far as the order of termination is concerned, we see hardly any reason to cause interference as it was mandatory for the petitioner to acquire the requisite qualification and report compliance, which the petitioner has failed to do.

6.

The reliance placed on the order of the Apex Court dated 6.2.2023 in Civil Appeal No.935/2023 is wholly misplaced. In such
