ATE : FEBRUARY 11, 2025 1) Learned Assistant Government Pleader submitted that as per the order dated 08/07/2024, the Additional Collector had conducted the enquiry and prepared a report and said the report, along with the documents, is brought by the concerned Officer with him and learned Assistant Government Pleader seeks liberty to tender the same on record. Accordingly, the sealed envelope is taken on record.

2) Similarly, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that he filed the enquiry report and most of the documents on record.

3) Learned counsel for respondent Nos.4 to 20 seeks liberty to look into the documents and enquiry report, and therefore, he seeks permission to inspect the same, as he wants to file a reply in that regard.

4) The Learned Assistant Government Pleader formerly objected to the same. However, no reason has been given for

2 21-wp 837.2024.doc objecting to the refusal of the respondents to inspect the documents. As such, we do not find any substance in his objection. Hence, considering the facts of the case, in our view, it would be proper to permit the inspection of the documents along with the enquiry report to the respondents in the presence of the Registrar (Judicial).

5) List the matter after two weeks.
