In the facts and circumstances of the case we deem it appropriate to allow the petition to the extent of issuing direction to the respondent-State Government to decide the appeals preferred by the respondents. 3.

The contentions are that pursuant to the liberty granted in the order dated 24th April, 2023 passed in Writ Petition No.1094/2022 and Writ Petition 1095/2022 though the petitioner has moved an application for intervention or joining as a party in the pending appeal before the State Government. Neither the application nor the appeals are decided.

Drawing support from the aforesaid order of this Court it is clear that appropriate directions needs to be issued to the State Government.

We have heard Mr. N.R. Patil, learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent No.1 and he submits that in the facts and circumstances Court may pass an appropriate order.

We dispose of the present petition by directing respondent-State Government not only to decide the application for intervention of the petitioner expeditiously but also the appeal.
