The petitioner was superannuated in 2022 from the post of Assistant Teacher before which he occupied the post of Headmaster from 15/04/2002 to 30/06/2018. The petitioner thereafter given up his claim for the post of Headmaster and pursuant to such request, he was brought back to the post of Assistant Teacher. According to the petitioner, having occupied the post of Headmaster from 15/04/2002 to 30/06/2018, the leave encashment in relation to the said period should have been made admissible qua the post of Headmaster. 3.

Issue notice for disposal of the petition to the respondents, returnable on 15/04/2025.
