The respondent No.2-Committee has invalidated the claim of the petitioner vide order dated 2-2-2024 for issuance of validity certificate as that of belonging to 'Mana' Scheduled Tribe.

2, The petitioner has relied upon the oldest document, that is of 1933, in relation to the extract of the birth register of 'Dhondya Mana', the great grandfather of the petitioner. The Committee has taken out the copy of the very same document from the office of the Collector, Yavatmal and noted that there is an adverse entry of 'Kunbi', which is relied upon. 3.

The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the said document was not served on the petitioner, thereby not giving an opportunity to the petitioner of submitting his explanation. 4.

Issue notice before admission to the respondents, returnable on 26-3-2024. 5.
