DATE : 10TH MARCH, 2025 The respondent No.2 is a public trust, registered under the Maharashtra Public Trusts Act, the petitioner is claiming appointment on compassionate grounds on account of the fact, that the husband of the petitioner, who was employed as Attendant with the respondent No.2, has passed away on 15/06/2023.

The only argument made by Mr.Radke, learned counsel for the petitioner, in support of the petition, is that the respondent No.2-Trust is receiving public fund from the respondent No.1. That by itself cannot be a criteria to claim compassionate appointment, unless it is pointed out, that the policy in respect thereof has been made applicable and adopted by the public trust. We do not see any material placed on record to indicate this position. We, therefore, do not wish to interfere in the petition. The same is dismissed. No costs.
