The petitioner seeks challenge to the impugned order dated 26/07/2023 passed by respondent No.2 thereby invalidating the caste claim of the petitioner towards "Mannewar" scheduled tribe.

The contention is that the petitioner had relied upon two pre-constitutional documents dated 28/08/1934 and 29/04/1941 respectively at serial Nos.7 and 9 which documents clearly mentioned the caste of the petitioner as 'Mannewar'; however, the aforesaid documents are rejected by the committee and the caste claim of the petitioner has been invalidated. 4.

In view of the above, issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 13/10/2025.
