The mother of the petitioner viz. Surekha was working as Assistant Teacher who claimed to have been died because of COVID infection while discharging official duty.

Pursuant to the scheme of the Government reflected in various Government Resolutions it is the claim of the petitioner that he is entitled for compensation of Rs.50,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Lakhs). Though the claim was submitted within time, the concerned respondent has refused to honour the same by inferring that the same was submitted belatedly.
