This matter pertains to eviction of petitioner from the shop in question, by the Railway. Admittedly, the petitioner initially as a partner of the original lessee and subsequently after his death the petitioner is in possession since 1991 and his application for grant of lease is also pending with the respondent-authority. Moreover, the appeal filed against order of eviction dated 28.7.2023 is pending.

In the circumstances, time sought by the learned Deputy Solicitor General of India for filing reply is granted till 30th April, 2024.
