The petitioner has challenged the order of closer of liquor shop. The order does not explain the specific period of closer. Earlier, this Court asked the learned AGP about clarification of order and today has submitted a letter received from Inspector of Police, Kuhi. In said letter it is stated that the liquor shop will be closed during the period of Code of Conduct i.e. 06.06.2024.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has relied upon the judgment of Hon'ble Apex Court reported in East Coast Railway and another v. Mahadev Appa Rao and others (2010) 7 SCC 678.

Though the period was not mentioned in order by letter submitted before this Court it is mentioned that it will operate till the period of Code of Conduct. 3.
