DATED : 22-04 -202 The contention is that the appointment of respondent no. 1 was for the period from 1-9-2005 to 30-4-2007 i.e. for 11⁄2 years and not 2 years and further that the appointment was of temporary nature and, therefore, respondent no. 1 could not get benefit of confirmed appointment in terms of sub-section (2) of Section 5 of the Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Condition of Services) Regulation Act, 1977. In support, learned counsel for the appellants has placed reliance upon the judgment of Full Bench of this Court in the case of Ramkrishna Chauhan Vs. Seth D. M. High School and others [2013(2) Mh.L.J. 713].

Issue notice, returnable on 3-5-2024.
