After hearing the learned Counsel for the parties for some time and when this Court has shown disinclination to entertain the Petitions for the reason that alternate efficacious remedy of appeal has been provided under Section 137 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949, the learned Counsel for the Petitioners, on instructions, seek withdrawal of the Petitions, with liberty to file an appeal within a period of two weeks.

The Petitions are dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed.

It is clarified that, if the appeal is filed within a period of two weeks, the issue of limitation shall neither be raised nor be entertained by the Appellate Authority. 4.
