Present Petition seeks a direction to the Respondents to accept the candidature of the Petitioner and issue appointment order in favour of the Petitioner on the post of Mechanic in response to the Advertisement No.1/2023 issued by the Respondent No.1/Selection Committee. Alternatively it also prays for direction to the Respondent No.2/Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Amravati to decide the representation dated 1/3/2024 made by the Petitioner.

During the pendency of the present Petition an additional affidavit is filed on behalf of the Respondent No.3 that he is not having any objection, if the Petitioner is selected as a candidate for the post of Mechanic at Zilla Parishad, Amravati. The affidavit is of little consequences as the Respondent No.3 is nobody to object or to withdraw his objection to the claim of the Petitioner. Therefore, without dealing with the said affidavit on merits and

3/3 Judg.923.wp.2727.2024.odt looking to the consequences of the said affidavit, we direct the Respondent No.2/Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Amravati to decide the representation dated 1/3/2024 as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of eight weeks from the date of this order. 5.
