Mr. Mandlekar, learned counsel for the petitioners, and the respective counsel for the respondents make a joint statement that, as far as the prayers made in the petition are concerned, they do not survive.

However, according to Mr. Mandlekar, certain grievance of the petitioners still subsists, and he accordingly wants to approach the appropriate authority/Collector to raise such grievance.

He, therefore, prays that he may be granted liberty to file a representation raising such grievance and, in case such representation is made, the appropriate authority/Collector may be directed to decide the same within a stipulated period. 5.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of, as the same has become infructuous, with liberty as prayed for. No costs.
