DATED : 27-03-2025 Learned AGP, upon instruction, makes a statement that within a period of 20 days from today the reservation for the post of Sarpanch in Wardha district shall be finalized by the Collector Wardha. Mr. Kukde, learned counsel for respondent No. 2, upon instructions, however, makes a statement that since the election have to be taken simultaneously in the entire State, the reservation for the post of Sarpanch, will have to be determined by the respective collectors, before election programme can be declared.

The learned AGP therefore, to take instructions and make a statement as to the timeframe, within which the reservations for the post of Sarpanch shall be determined. Based upon this, Mr. Kukday, the learned Counsel for respondent No.2 shall take instruction as to within how much time thereafter, the elections can be declared.
