The present petition challenges the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner's application for apprenticeship in the Gas Cutter trade for the Session 2023-24 on the ground that the petitioner failed to produce an ITI Certificate for the Gas Cutter trade. 3.

Since the session for which the application was made is already over, the petition has become infructuous. 4.

However, the contention, raised by the petitioner that he has completed ITI in the Welder trade, which also includes Gas Cutting, and therefore the respondents cannot insist upon an independent and separate ITI certificate for the Gas Cutter trade, is kept open.

If such an occasion arises, the petitioner shall be at liberty to file a fresh petition and raise the aforesaid issue along with other grounds available to him in law. nd.thawre

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
