There is no dispute, that there is no prohibition in the statutory provisions applicable to the matter in hand, to permit change in the name of the petitioner no.2-Institution in the records of respondent no.2 / Dental Council of India. In view of which, the impugned communications dated 15.12.2023 (page 22) and 16.02.2024 (page 25) are hereby quashed and set aside and the respondent No.2 is directed to record the change of name vis-a-vis the petitioner No.2 in its record.

The petition is accordingly allowed in above terms. No costs.
