Learned Advocate for the petitioner-husband submits that, although by order dated 08th September 2025, the petitioner was directed to deposit the arrears of maintenance considering the amount of Rs.10,000/- per month, the petitioner-husband has, till date, paid an amount of Rs.5,84,400/-, towards the arrears of maintenance @ Rs.10,000/- per month, granted in the D.V. proceedings. It is submitted that the petitioner has in fact paid the additional amount of Rs.1,54,500/- and thus, it is stated that the statement made by the learned Advocate for the respondent on last date that the petitioner has not paid even the amount of Rs.10,000/- per month is incorrect. 2.

On having been confronted with this position, learned Advocate for the respondent seeks time to verify the position and to make a statement.

Learned Advocate for the respondent is directed to verify the position about the total arrears paid till today and file an affidavit in that regard within a period of one week.

Earlier statement made on behalf of the respondent assuring that the respondent will not take any coercive steps against the petitioner shall continue till next date. 5.
