Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

The petitioner contested the selection process for the post of Police Constable in the City of Nagpur from sports quota. 3.

The claim of the petitioner is that he has participated and secured medal in the game Sepak-Takraw, which is recognized by the State Government, vide Government Resolution dated 20th June, 2024.

It is the case of the petitioner that his request for verification of his medal certificate is not completed by the respondent no.3.

In this background, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent no.3, before whom the petitioner undertakes to appear on 5th August, 2024 to treat the present petition of the

916wp4020.24.odt 2/2 petitioner as a representation and complete the process of verification and communicate the decision thereon to the petitioner, so also, if required, to respondent no.5, within a period of one week thereafter.

The petition accordingly stands disposed of.
